Bessy + Matthew had one incredible wedding day full of love, celebration, and so much JOY! The bridal party was excited to celebrate with them, friends and family gathered at the church to witness these two become one, and the celebration continued as guests danced, cheered, and sang these two into the beginning of their marriage. This was one of the most joyful and most celebrated weddings we've ever had the privilege of experiencing and Bessy + Matthew deserved every second of it. These two are kind, thoughtful, generous, and absolutely crazy about each other. Bessy + Matthew, we couldn't be more thrilled for the start of what we know will be an incredible marriage!
Daly + Daniel's engagement shoot happened on the most amazing summer night with the dreamiest golden light. We roamed around their wedding venue and shared lots of laughs! These two are so much fun to be around and watching them interact with each other is so much fun. November will be here before we know it and these two will be MARRIED!
There's so much I could say about Kristen + Corey. From the moment I met them at our engagement shoot, I knew they would be a couple we would adore spending time with. They are both incredibly kind, compassionate, joyful, and concerned about others. The way their friends and family interacted with them and the joy that was present on their wedding day points to the outstanding character of these two. Kristen's laugh pulls joy out of people and the way Corey smiles at Kristen shows such love and gentleness. One of my top favorite moments of the day is when Kristen's nephew walked down the aisle as a ring bearer and Corey had toys in his pocket to give him as he got to the end of the aisle. This brief moment sums up how great these two are. They were calm, cool, and insanely happy during this whole day even when the unexpected happened. Their reception timeline got totally moved around based on a thunderstorm that was rolling in, but we headed out to a field to get some gorgeous couple photos (beautiful rain clouds included!) before the bottom fell out. Their ceremony and reception was held at a gorgeous family friend's home and as we headed in from our sunset photos people were gathered on the porches waiting out the rain. Kristen + Corey spent time talking with their friends and family and it was really sweet to see a bride and groom be able to stop and rest for a minute and really enjoy some peace and quiet with their guests. The rain finally cleared out and the dance floor filled up and these two enjoyed every second in between. Kristen + Corey, thank you so much for your grace, your laughs, and all the joy you gave to us and others!
Brea and Nick's wedding weekend had rain in the forecast and when you're planning on an all outdoor wedding, you know that can be a point of anxiety. Saturday started out hot, but sunny and it didn't seem like there would be a cloud in the sky! As we were getting ready for the first look and to jump into portrait time, we had a few little sprinkles but the clouds parted and these two had one of the sweetest first looks I've ever witnessed. Nick beamed from ear to ear as he saw his bride and Brea had such peace and joy written on her face. Not long after these two saw each other for the first time, the rain started pouring. Even with the rain, these two couldn't have been more joyful or peaceful or excited. There was no question what this day was about; it was about two people who love each other and who love the Lord focusing on the marriage that was ahead of them. By ceremony time the sun was shining and these two said "I do" with so many friends and family cheering them on! From first dances to sunset photos to sparkler and cheer filled goodbyes, this sweet wedding day was filled with so much joy and laughter! Brea + Nick, I hope these newlywed days hold as much joy as you felt on this day!
Venue: Hedge Farm
Garner + Trey are high school sweethearts who finally tied the knot last weekend at Hedge Farm. I know this is a day that these two have looked forward to for years and years. Soon after we arrived at the venue Garner pulled out a small, wooden heart box and told me that she had kept it since she was 16. It was a gift that Trey made her in woodshop class and for years she had hoped that one day it would hold her wedding ring! It was such a joyful celebration as many gathered around these two to show their love and support of their new marriage. Joy, love, celebration, and encouragement poured from the people surrounding Garner + Trey on this day and we were grateful to witness such a fun , memorable day!
